The Platner home is a place full of activity, noise, and fun. God has created something wonderful and blessed us with six awesome kids that have come to us through two avenues: birth and adoption. It all started in 1992 with Lacey who is our crawfish baby born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, while we were ministering at LSU. She's a great, big sister and loves riding horses and spending time with friends. Anna Grace came along almost 7 years later and was quickly followed by Emmie. Anna loves all animals, especially horses, and can usually be found reading a book or drawing. Emmie is not the loudest or most energetic of our tribe, but she is at the center of most things going on. She has a quiet spirit and great heart and is the director and servant of the 3 younger ones. Christa was the beginning chapter of our adoption story and we had the privilege of bringing her home from the hospital 2 days after birth. She loves sports and games and is full of energy all the time. Tyler broke up our sorority. He is all boy and loves playing with tractors and balls. He has a great laugh and is an incredible dancer. God brought both Tyler and Sophie, who completes our family, to us from Mississippi. She is upbeat and makes us smile all the time. Her energy is non-stop and she does a good job of keeping mom worn out. |
